How it works
Darwin Tile & Grout is run by Strivo, an Adelaide business that operates local home-service brands. We set the prices, take your booking and your payment, and handle any questions or problems.
The cleaning itself is done by an independent local tile cleaner in Darwin, working under our name as a subcontractor. That’s how we can offer published prices and online booking without you having to chase quotes from several small operators.
What “vetted” means
Before a cleaner works under our name, we check:
- An active ABN
- The right equipment for the job, including tile and grout tools and rinse-and-extract gear
- Examples of their past tile and grout work
- Proof of their own public liability cover
Why our prices are public
None of the Darwin tile cleaners we looked at publish their prices; you have to ask for a quote. We think you should know roughly what a job costs before you pick up the phone, so every price is on our prices page. If something on the day means the price needs to change, you’re told before any work starts.
What we don’t do
We stick to cleaning and sealing indoor tiles and grout. We don’t do regrouting, re-tiling, waterproofing, shower leak repairs or silicone replacement. Outdoor tiles, pool surrounds and pavers are handled by our sister brand, PressClean Darwin.
