Privacy policy
What we collect when you request a quote or book, why, and what we do with it.
Who we are
Darwin Tile & Grout is operated by Strivo. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Darwin Tile & Grout. Contact us about privacy at hello@darwintileandgrout.com.au.
What we collect
When you request a quote or book, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, suburb, the service you want, the size of the job, your preferred date and any notes. When you book, we also collect the address where the work will be done.
We also record basic information about how you found us: the first page you visited, the website that referred you and any campaign tags in the link. This is stored in your browser and sent with your quote request. If analytics is enabled on this site, it uses cookies to measure visits in aggregate.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, give you a price and book the job
- To pass the job details to the local tile cleaner who will do the work (your name, phone number, address and job details only)
- To send you a booking confirmation and, after the job, a payment link
- To understand which pages and channels bring us enquiries
We don’t sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it is stored
Quote requests are stored in a database run by our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Email is handled by our email provider. These providers may store data on servers outside Australia. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we don’t see or store your full card details.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as we need them for the job and for our tax and business records, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@darwintileandgrout.com.au. If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
